Oh, goddess who grants us wealth and prosperity,
Who fills my thoughts entirely,
If I’m able to understand “you”
As my very life, the real beauty within me, and as my teacher and guide,
You will always protect me!
Oh Baalaa, the most beautiful, divine goddess in all three worlds (waking, sleeping and deep sleep states). - Oh, Bala, you have given me your steady support,
Despite the many, many sufferings that have assailed me in life,

- Many, many are the temples, I’ve wandered to,
Many are the remedies and rituals, I’ve performed!
However, my grief remains, and problems are not solved,
The effects of my previous karma (actions) have not decreased,
My mental suffering seems to only escalate,
Physically, I’m very weak and my strength is debilitated,
Don’t remain silent, Bala,
Hereafter, don’t remain silent!
You will come running to me,
Please forgive me for past actions and put me on the right path,
Bala, please guide me on the right path!
Please bless me with a good life!
I shall place my head on your feet with devotion and surrender, Bala,
Oh, great light of wisdom, undivided consciousness principle,
You reside within me as that rare medicine which shall transform and heal me!
Please reside in my heart always
Grant me liberation by knowing my real identity that is not different from you!
