Introduction.
On October 22nd, 2024, Sri Bala blessed us with a powerful Hymn to ward off all diseases. Indeed, this song is an armor provided by the Divine Child as protection from the myriads of infections and ill health that plague all of us from time to time.
A careful and devout reading of this sacred text is bound to remove suffering due to ill health as well as remove all shackles that bind us in this worldly life or samsara and provide instant liberation.

Invocation to Lord Ganapathi.
Oh, most beloved Lord Ganesha, we salute you
Oh, great lord who bestows prosperity, remover of all sorrows,
Please bless us with this hymn given by Sri Bala for removing all diseases, a song that provides us with an impenetrable armor and grants us good health.
Oh elephant-faced Lord who has a curved trunk, one who has five faces to protect us in all directions, oh most compassionate one, please protect and shower your grace!
We surrender at your feet in love.

Oh, great goddess, personification of kindness and empathy, bestower of boons,
Luminous in-dweller of our hearts, granting all auspiciousness,
Oh embodiment of happiness, granting us all comforts and pleasures, you are indeed the energy of God Dhanvantri (an aspect of Lord Vishnu), the great healing force!
Oh great goddess, who is the never ending source of nectar or immortal bliss, please grant us good health, happiness and prosperity.
Oh golden -hued goddess, an aspect of MahaLakshmi, seated on a beautiful lotus, please remove all my afflictions, especially heart-related ailments. Oh, most compassionate one, Goddess Gowri, consort of Lord Shiva, please give us your blessings.

Oh, supreme goddess of the Universe, beloved companion of Lord Shiva who is the supreme healer of this creation as Lord Vaidyanatha; protect us every day of our lives from all disease and illnesses. We offer our respects to you!

Oh, Goddess Durga who removes all sorrow, poverty and afflictions in worldly life, we surrender at your feet, oh, great Mother of this creation. We have no one else but you as our ultimate refuge. Please protect us, Divine, child goddess, dearest, loved one!

Oh, Goddess who resides as shining effulgence in the mantra beeja “Aim”; who represents the red-hued splendor of Shakthi, in the mantra syllable “Kleem”; and who exists as the embodiment of auspiciousness in the mantra syllable “ Souh”, please grant us your blessings and bestow upon us both protection as well as wisdom ! Oh great Yogini, who excels in all forms of yogic practices, our salutations to you.

Oh, Bhuvaneshwari, empress of this world, who is the embodiment of the primordial sound Om, or Pranava, who is the personification of the syllable “Hreem”, please grant us courage, strength and unquestioning faith in you.

Oh, Goddess who protects all sentient and non-sentient things in creation. Goddess who has no beginning or end, who bestows clarity in our minds. Oh most beautiful lady in all three worlds, the compassionate Divine child-goddess, Sri Bala, the mother of Lord Skanda and the most beloved consort of Lord Vishwanatha (Lord Shiva), please grant us the sacred armor that can protect us from all diseases and sickness.

  1. Oh, ruling Goddess of our intellect, protect our head (brain) and bless us with wisdom regarding our real nature. We salute you!

  3. Oh, Goddess Gayathri (Mother of all Vedas, power of the sun and dispeller of negativities), help us achieve one-pointed concentration in all our efforts and grant us success in the meditation on our Higher Nature. Salutations.
  4. Oh great Goddess Shakthi, who governs the third eye of intuition or Ajna Chakra (situated in the center of the eyebrows), please direct us to the doorway of wisdom and enlighten us with regard to higher planes of existence. Salutations.

Oh, great Goddess, Karumari (ruler of health and cures us from all viral infections), extend your compassion and protect our eyesight just like the eyelids provide constant protection to the two eyes! Oh, awe inspiring consort of Lord Shiva, the Goddess of decay, Bhairavi! Great Empress of the Universe, Bhuvaneshwari!
Please grant us the ability to discriminate between that experience of our true self or Atman, which is the only source of infinite happiness and worldly achievements that are by nature perishable, short lived and finite in nature. May we develop detachment and dispassion towards worldly goals and develop maturity and spiritual strength to understand the real purpose of human life.

Oh Lord Guru Guha, the Lord of wisdom, the ultimate teacher or Guru of all Celestials who imparts the highest wisdom of self-knowledge, please bless us to attain the highest spiritual goals following Karma Yoga and Jnana Yoga. Lord Skanda’s two consorts, Valli and Devasena, respectively denote the significance of the power of will and the power of action, both of which must be integrated in the dawning of wisdom, represented by Lord Murugan.
